Jersey Cookie Girl builds moments.

In just a few weeks, Red Bank, New Jersey is getting a new kind of sugar rush! The kind that smells like childhood, looks like edible art, and tastes like the recipe you didn’t know you needed.

On August 15, Jersey Cookie Girl opens her new location, and she’s bringing more than just a menu. She’s bringing a vision.

It’s been a long road from her Jackson, NJ kitchen to this new storefront. A road paved with moon cakes made for her father, a family-famous Hellman’s Mayonnaise chocolate cake, and one Candyland-themed Sweet 16 order that made her realize cookies could be more than dessert.

But the leap to Red Bank isn’t just about growth. It’s about community and creating a space where people can walk in, breathe in the smell of sugar and butter, and remember a time when something as simple as a cookie could make their whole day better.

In her words? This isn’t just business, it’s “sharing joy with sweetness.”

And that joy has been years in the making.

FROM KITCHEN TO COOKIE BRAND

The story starts in Jackson, NJ long before the storefront, before the name, before people were ordering boxes of her cookies for life’s biggest moments.

Baking was already part of her family language. She grew up making moon cakes for her father and the family’s beloved Hellman’s Mayonnaise chocolate cake. These were traditions that never left her heart.

The shift from “baking for family” to “baking as art” happened in the sweetest way possible: a friend’s Candyland-themed Sweet 16.

I did a Candyland theme sweet 16 for a friend. That was the first time I really decorated cookies in a way that felt creative.

The name that would become her brand, Jersey Cookie Girl, actually came from a moment of family affection.

My aunt from Michigan said Jersey Cookie Girl and I instantly loved it!

At first, it was just a nickname. Then came the moment it became something bigger.

She baked cookies for her son’s friend as a thank-you gift. The friend’s family loved them so much that the thank-you turned into four new orders overnight.

I received four orders from that gift, and that’s when I realized…this could be something.

From that point on,

wasn’t just a cute name. It was a promise. Every box, every cookie, made with the same care as those first ones baked for people she loved.

EDIBLE ART WITH A STORY

Walk into Jersey Cookie Girl’s world and you’ll quickly realize, these cookies are her canvases. It’s her way of expressing and a tool to connect.

Trust me. Take a look inside and you WILL connect with a cookie. The first time I stopped by, I was dressed head to toe in cow print (my signature look of course). I had the surprise of my life when I saw…COW COOKIES!!!

YES! FORKING COW COOKIES!

In that moment I felt so seen and knew I had to take it home immediately to eat it!

Every design starts with a spark. Sometimes that spark comes from research like hunting down the latest trends in colors, patterns, and themes. Sometimes it comes from listening to a client describe their vision for a big moment.

And sometimes, it’s pure freestyle.

I research new trends in designs and colors and try to duplicate it in an edible creation. I do sketches for clients so we are on the same page and they have an idea of what the finished product could look like. I also do freestyle as well as listen to my client’s ideas and visions and turn them into an edible creation.

At the heart of it all is her signature sugar cookie, the recipe that built the business.

I created the recipe and the business was solely based on that one cookie. It’s flavorful, not too sweet but just enough to satisfy. It’s a wonderful base cookie to create a design that will enhance a sweet table at a special celebration and brighten up someone’s day.

That balance is intentional. The cookie has to be good enough to stand on its own, but also act as a foundation for elaborate designs.

It’s art you can eat, but more than that, it’s art you can remember. The kind you take a picture of before you bite, because you know it’s part of the story of the day.

THE BIG MOVE TO RED BANK

Sometimes the next chapter comes from an unexpected suggestion. For Jersey Cookie Girl, it was her Realtor who planted the seed: “What about renting a kitchen in a church in Red Bank?”

I would have not thought Red Bank was an option for me.”

But curiosity won. She arrived early for the meeting, drove around town to get a feel for it, and the rest was fate.

I saw a vacancy and called.

That call set everything in motion. Moving to Red Bank didn’t just give her a new address, it also supercharged her creativity.

Having the ability now to design new products and events to impact my new community is beyond words. Sharing in my new community generates excitement to keep creating and dreaming.

The most exciting part? Designing a space where sweet reactions and memories are made daily. The most overwhelming? Coordinating the dozens of moving pieces to make it all happen.

And now, after months of planning, the doors are finally opening.

When you walk in, expect the smell of cookies fresh from the oven. And if you’re not a Cookie Monster? No worries! She has way more than just cookies inside.

There’s brownies, rice crispies, chocolate covered pretzels, white chocolate Oreos, and plenty more. Expect to feel happy and comfortable, maybe even nostalgic. And expect to leave with a little something that makes your tummy happy.

STORY, SOUL, & SWEETNESS

For Jersey Cookie Girl, baking is all about feeling and connecting.

Baking allows me to share my heart and desire to make people smile.

She knows cookies carry memories. A sugar cookie can be more than sugar and flour, it can be a Time Machine to a childhood kitchen, a wedding dessert table, a celebration, or a quiet moment of comfort when you need it most.

People relate memories with baked goods. Most enjoy sharing them with me.

When someone receives a box of her cookies, she hopes it’s more than a treat.

I hope they feel the love and sentiment from the person who sent it. If they bought it for themself, I hope it is a warm hug that brightens their day and makes them smile.

And she’s already thinking beyond the ribbon cutting. Her one-year vision? A community that lights up at the mention of Jersey Cookie Girl.

I hope to have created a community where love, happiness and smiles come to mind when someone hears Jersey Cookie Girl mentioned.

In Red Bank, that community starts August 15. And one cookie at a time, it’ll keep growing sweet, detailed, and full of heart.
