2026 Diamond 5K

Welcome to the Diamond 5K

The Diamond 5K is more than a race, it's a community celebration of health, unity, and giving back. Hosted by the New Brunswick (NJ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., this annual event brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters from across Middlesex and Somerset Counties for a morning of movement and meaningful impact.

Every step taken on race day helps fund our Kappa League program, which provides mentorship, guidance, and opportunity for young men in our communities. Proceeds also support essential outreach efforts, including food drives and holiday toy distributions that bring relief and joy to families throughout the region.

Since its inception, the Diamond 5K has grown into a signature community event, drawing participants from fraternities, sororities, running clubs, local businesses, and neighbors who simply believe in showing up for one another. Last year, our community came together to raise nearly $9,000. This year, we're aiming even higher, with a goal of $20,000, so we can expand our reach and deepen our impact.
