<p><span><span>Artfront Galleries Presents </span><strong><span>The Black and White of It All</span></strong><span><br>In celebration of Newark Pride Week (July 13–19, 2026), </span><em><span>The Black and White of It All</span></em><span> opens July 10, 6–9 PM at Newark Local Beer.</span></span></p><p><span><span>This exhibition explores identity, visibility, resistance, and resilience through the deliberate absence of color. While Pride is often recognized through the vibrant spectrum of the rainbow—a symbol of community, liberation, and self-expression—recent challenges to LGBTQ+ visibility remind us that symbols can be stripped away, histories can be contested, and progress is never guaranteed.</span></span></p><p><span><span>By removing color, the work turns toward contrast, shadow, texture, and light as primary languages. In this space, emotion sharpens, memory intensifies, and presence becomes undeniable.</span></span></p><p><span><em><span>The Black and White of It All</span></em><span> asks what remains when everything nonessential is stripped away—and what truths emerge in the starkest form of seeing. </span></span></p><p><span><span>Come out and Enjoy some amazing art and tasty beer!!!</span></span></p>
