“Frost your way into Fall” Oct 14th 6-8pm Attendees will enjoy a class taught by our very own board member, Jennifer Costa. Sweets Chef Jen, as she is known in Rutherford and on Instagram, is an award-winning pastry chef from California. Jennifer has over 20 years of pastry experience working in world-class kitchens from The Waterside Inn in Bray, England to The Lodge at Torrey Pines in San Diego, California to Oceans in New York City. Now that Jennifer calls Rutherford home, she would love to give back by teaching a Royal Icing Cookie Decorating class at her favorite spot, the public library. During the class you can expect to learn about the different consistencies of royal icing, a recipe to take home for both royal icing and her popular sugar cookie, and a few different techniques to help you wow your friends and family this holiday season! Each ticket includes a box with 5 cookies to decorate with 4 different colors of icing and light refreshments. All event proceeds will go to support Rutherford Library programs.
