Newark Fashion Night Out is a citywide fashion and cultural experience positioning Newark as a destination for fashion, art, beauty, culture, commerce, and creativity. Founded by Newark native and fashion industry veteran Lynette LaShawn, Newark Fashion Night Out brings together designers, artists, businesses, cultural institutions, industry professionals, and the community through runway presentations, curated experiences, conversations, shopping, nightlife, and activations throughout the city. Taking place during the final week of Fashion Month, Newark Fashion Night Out celebrates Newark’s creative economy while driving tourism, supporting local businesses, creating opportunities for emerging talent, and showcasing the city’s influence, culture, and style.
