Chess Night at the Brewery

Bring your own board. Bring your friends. Maybe bring your enemies too. Pints & Pawns happens monthly (1st thursday of the month) - a low-key, no-pressure chess night at Readington Brewery. No registration, no rankings. Just good vibes, open tables, and beer that’ll make you rethink your next move. — Before You Go: – Dogs are cool. Indoors or out — just leash up, clean up, and keep the good vibes flowing. – No outside drinks. They’ve got tap water (free), bottled water, and fancy craft sodas made with real cane sugar. – Food? Bring it. BYO snacks, pizza, full picnic — they won’t judge. – Be a good guest. Return glassware to the bar. Trash goes in bins. They’ll wipe down the table. – Seating’s first come. No seat saving — full crew should roll in together. – Kids are welcome — usually. Evening events are case-by-case, so just know staff might ask for a vibe check if things get wild. – Planning to post up outside? Fire pits and porch heaters are on, but bring a layer. It gets breezy. They’re setting the board. You bring the brains.
