New Jersey Renaissance Faire

The New Jersey Renaissance Faire was conceived in 2009 by T.J. Miller, John Williams and Phil Leipf. Their mutual love of Renaissance faires as a way to touch and engage an audience brought them as if by the magic of Crossford woods to Liberty Lake and to Andy Pritikin. The magic swept him in as well for he had only seen his first Renaissance faire that very year! This year's theme is the return of the golden age pirates! Some of the most infamous and notorious characters of The Golden Age of Piracy, those whose names echo through the annals of history, are once again stepping through the mystical faerie portals to walk the bustling streets of New Crossford. However, as fate would have it, time and the relentless hand of the Law are quickly catching up to these hardened sea rogues. Pursued relentlessly by the Crown’s formidable forces, they find themselves faced with an incredibly fateful and life-altering choice: Will they choose to accept a pardon and thus become royal privateers, aligning themselves with the very forces they once battled against, or will they opt to continue sailing boldly under the iconic Black flag, embracing the freedom and danger that comes with a life of piracy?
