<p><span>Stop by the Mahwah Museum this History Day!</span></p><p style="text-align: left"><span>The Northwest Bergen History Coalition is hosting its annual History Day on April 25th. With the purchase of one $10 ticket, you can visit up to twelve museums across Northwest Bergen Towns. </span></p><p style="text-align: left"><span>The Mahwah Museum features five exhibits plus the popular DC Model Railroad (lower level). Now on view, “The Gilded Age in the Ramapo Valley,” with historical maps, period costumes, photographs, and rare artifacts. “Somewhere in Fardale” shows early 20th c. HoHokus Township and Mahwah’s early neighborhood life, firemen, farming, and family genealogy. “Fardale in Flight” and “Metal Works in Motion” feature kinetic sculptures by Warren Storms. See his hand-made hang glider that flew in Mahwah! “The World of Model Trains” features a working G-Scale model train, vintage Lionel trains, and historical train memorabilia. Revolution 250 displays Robert Erskine’s 1778 Survey of the Ramapo Valley. Colonial costume replicas, and maps of 8 Revolutionary battles in NJ. The permanent “Les Paul and Mary Ford in Mahwah” features newly displayed garments and an 8-track recording console from the Les Paul house.
