This policy is a practical starter document for NJRadar and is not legal advice.

    1. Introduction

NJRadar helps people discover events, local businesses, and editorial content in New Jersey. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

    • Technical data: IP address, browser or device details, logs, and cookies or session data needed for login and security.
    • Editorial content: blog and editor content created or managed by NJRadar admins and authors.

    3. Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, NJRadar may receive basic account details such as your name, email address, and profile image, depending on Google's OAuth response. We use this information to create or log in to your NJRadar account and to secure your session.

    • Manage event listings, blog posts, and editorial content.

    5. How We Store and Protect Information

NJRadar uses Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage, and Vercel for hosting and deployment. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

    6. Sharing of Information

    • We do not sell personal information.
    • We may share information with service providers needed to run NJRadar, such as Supabase, Vercel, and Google Sign-In services.
    • We may disclose information when required by law or when needed to protect NJRadar, users, or the public.

    7. Cookies and Sessions

NJRadar uses cookies, local storage, and session storage as needed for authentication, account sessions, security, and core app functionality.

    8. Third-Party Links and Event Listings

NJRadar may link to third-party event pages, venues, ticketing platforms, organizers, and other websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties, not NJRadar.
